Set up two-factor authentication
Add an authenticator code to your password.
- Open Account & security and start two-factor setup.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app.
- Enter the current code to confirm setup.
- Save your recovery codes somewhere private and separate from your device.
At sign-in, enter your password and then the authenticator code. Each recovery code can be used only once.
Lost your authenticator?
Use an unused recovery code if you have one. Do not share your QR code, secret or recovery codes with anyone.
A workspace owner may reset another member's 2FA only under strict account-membership restrictions. This option is not available for every account. Ask your owner if recovery is needed; do not assume they can bypass the checks.
If a valid code fails, check your device's automatic time setting and try the newest code.
